3rd and 4th Grades

Third and fourth graders began the year by reviewing the lab rules. Third graders learned all about proper keyboarding technique and completed the Dance Mat Typing program. Fourth graders started the year by reviewing their keyboarding skills. Both third and fourth graders continued to work on their keyboarding skills throughout the year. Fourth graders explored their gmail accounts and learned about email etiquette. At the beginning of October, there was a two week break from computer as the lab was used for MAP testing. In November, we used Paint to create some special artwork for the Christmas concert program. After Christmas all students created a Catholic Schools Week thank you card. Third and fourth graders then learned about Microsoft Word. In April, there was a two week break from computer class for spring MAP testing. Next we worked on completing projects for the Art & Tech Fair on May 10th. We hope you were able to attend! Fourth Graders then worked on the Digital Passport program, while third graders completed Mother's and Father's Day acrostics. We finished out the year learning about internet safety.
